Entering the MTC...

Because families can no longer go into the MTC with their missionaries, they suggest we take pictures beforehand, and then the guideline is to just drop the Elder or sister off at the curb...AT THE CURB!!! So we took pictures beforehand in the field across from the MTC, and dropped our dear little (very excited) Sister Jen off AT THE CURB...

  Bye bye...

 bittersweet indeed!

Leaving home for the MTC...

The McNews brought Sister Jen a very cute backpack...so nice of them!

Saying good-bye to three boys...

Modeling her new water-proof, super warm, hooded, coat with the zip-out lining, inside cuffs, and  lots of pockets!  A gift from her parents and her three brothers.  Should do the trick in cold Japan winters!

Yes, this pic is displayed and will remain in view for eighteen months. :)

She will miss you, Grandma Jan...
The neighborhood turned out to say good-bye...
Stop at the Wilkensen Center for some items...

Jen just had to stop by her former office where she volunteered for two semesters while attending BYU.  Perfect caption!!!
